Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Irvine is recruiting for Support Practitioners. No prior care experience is required as values and transferable skills are valued, with full training including a funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Posts are full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with shifts across 7 days; evening and weekend work is required. We support individuals to live independently at home, in a role focused on personal care and social support.

Qualifications

• You do not need previous care experience; training provided.
• Fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Female applicants only with a UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• As a Support Practitioner, you will help individuals live as independently as possible in their own homes.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support within the service, accompany individuals to hobbies/events and participate in activities at home.
