Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting for Support Practitioners in Castle Douglas. You will support individuals to live independently in their own homes, assisting with medication, housework, meals and personal care.

No prior care experience required; full training provided, including SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. This full-time role (36 hours per week) involves 5 shifts across 7 days, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required; training provided including SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live independently in their own homes.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support within the service and accompany individuals to hobbies/events.
