Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is recruiting for Support Practitioners in Dumfries to deliver personalised care at home.

No prior care experience required; we assess on values and transferrable skills and offer fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.

Part-time role, 30 hours/week, 3 shifts over 7 days, with 8pm–8am night work; driving licence for manual vehicles is required. Training provided.

Qualifications

• UK driving licence required for manual vehicles.
• No prior care experience required; we recruit on values and transferrable skills.
• Fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• Willing to work nights (8pm–8am) and travel to service users’ homes.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live as independently as possible at home.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support and accompany individuals to hobbies/events.
