Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland in Kilwinning is recruiting for Support Practitioners. No prior care experience required; training provided including SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. A UK driving licence for manual vehicles is required; access to your own car is not necessary.

This full-time role is 36 hours across 5 shifts over 7 days, with evening and weekend work. You will support individuals to live independently at home, assist with medication, housework, meals and personal care, and

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; we recruit on values and transferrable skills.
• Training provided, including a fully funded SVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care.
• A UK Driving Licence for manual vehicles is required.

Responsibilities

• Support individuals to live as independently as possible in their own homes.
• Assist with medication, general housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Provide social support, accompany to hobbies/events, and participate in hobbies at home.
