Job summary

The Richmond Fellowship Scotland is hiring a dedicated Support Practitioner for our Scone service, supporting 7 individuals in their own tenancy at a single site. No prior care experience required; training provided including a fully funded SVQ.

You will assist with daily living tasks, medication and finances, housework, meals and personal care, while encouraging participation in activities and community life. Benefits include leave, rewards, travel, training, and career progression.

Qualifications

• Empathetic, caring nature.
• Good observation skills and communication abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Confidence with using computers.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Strong organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist individuals in their own homes with daily living, including medication and finances.
• Support with housework, meal preparation and personal care.
• Encourage participation in hobbies and activities.
