Cornerstone is seeking caring and reliable team members in Uphall to support four individuals in their shared home and visiting guests. Roles can be full-time or part-time, with shifts including mornings and sleepovers, and paid training provided regardless of prior experience.
You will help with daily living, meals, and activities, building genuine relationships and supporting each person to live life their way in the community.
We're looking for caring, reliable and down to earth people to join our amazing #TeamForrestWalk in Uphall. We have both full-time or part-time hours available.
You'll become part of a fun, friendly team supporting four amazing people within their shared home, along with some individuals who visit us for short break stays.
You will build a genuine relationship with each of the individuals and be part of moments that really matter; whether it's providing support to cook a meal, achieve a goal, try something new or just feel understood.
In addition to supporting the individuals with all aspects of their daily living, you'll also support them with their hobbies and interests too, including trips to the local pub, baking, dominoes and going for walks.
This isn't just support work, it's building trust, sharing laughs and helping people live life their way!

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual the shifts usually fall between the hours of 0700-2100 hours with sleepovers, waking nights, weekend and public holidays forming part of your rota on a rotational basis.
Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional payment of £107.60 for every sleepover shift you work. Waking night shifts are paid at your normal hourly rate, plus an additional payment of £20 per night.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and have a commitment to working towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
If you have spent more than 12 months out with the UK (excluding France, Germany. Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania or Spain) within the last 10 years while over the age of 18, you will be asked to provide a criminal record certificate from the relevant government/police authority as part of our pre-employment checks.
