Job summary

Codi Group in Llanelli, Wales, is seeking a dedicated Support Worker for a 16-hour-per-week part-time role in our Supported Living Service. The post includes sleep-in shifts; the service operates 24/7 with a rolling rota covering days, evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.

You will support three ladies with mental health needs to maintain independence, complete daily activities, provide emotional support, and help with budgeting, community access, and social engagement. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with people or customers.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• IT, literacy and numeracy skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting with medication, cooking and household tasks.
• Helping with personal care where needed.
• Assisting individuals to access the community and attend local groups, encouraging participation in hobbies and activities.
• Being a proactive team player with clear communication.
• Maintaining accurate digital records.
• Supporting budgeting and managing finances.
• Building companionship and promoting independence through conversations and activities.
• Accompanying individuals on outings.
• Assisting with cleaning and digital administrative duties.
• Contributing fresh ideas to improve ways of working.
• Offering tailored support based on each individual’s needs.
