You’ll play a key role in supporting an individual to live as independently as possible, helping with personal care, meal preparation, medication administration, budgeting, and accessing community activities. This is a one-to-one role, supporting an individual living in their own bungalow, allowing you to build a meaningful and rewarding working relationship.
While experience or an interest in mental health would be beneficial, full training and ongoing support will be provided to help you succeed and develop in the role.
Please note, the individual is a heavy smoker, however the property is equipped with air purifiers to support a comfortable working environment.
A background of working with people with physical or mental health needs is desired, but not necessary as full training and support from senior staff and management is provided.
