Job summary

Sanctuary Group is seeking a dedicated Support Assistant to join the mental health service at Aldam House, Goole. You will support adults with mental health needs, helping with daily living skills and promoting independence while working in a compassionate, community-focused team.

The role offers 22.5 hours per week at £13.15 per hour, with benefits including generous annual leave, sick pay, and a contributory pension.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills to build positive relationships with customers families and agencies.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.

  • Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service.
  • Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement.

Your role

  • Proficient technology/IT skills (Microsoft Office and similar)
