Job summary

Sanctuary Group’s Sanctuary Supported Living in London is seeking a Bank Support Assistant to join our compassionate team. You will provide hands-on support, encourage daily living skills, and promote social inclusion for people with a disability.

This role offers flexible hours at £14.47 per hour. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and consent to safeguarding checks; training and development opportunities are available.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards it.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office and IT skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a hands-on, high-quality support service.
  • Encourage daily living skills such as cooking, cleaning, shopping and community involvement.
  • Promote social inclusion and help customers build confidence, resilience and self-esteem.
  • Work with agencies on behalf of customers, acting as an advocate when needed.
  • Maintain a safe environment and follow relevant regulations and practices.
  • Caring, approachable nature.
  • Keep accurate records and share information clearly with the team.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, families and agencies.
  • Work effectively as part of a team.
  • Maintain a positive and accepting approach to customers.

Your role
