Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking qualified primary teachers to join our supply team in and around Bolton. The role offers flexible day-to-day bookings and longer placements, with opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2.

As a supply teacher you will follow existing lesson plans where provided, maintain routines and ensure pupils stay engaged throughout the day. A reliable, adaptable and professional approach is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Primary Supply Teacher - Bolton

Are you a qualified primary teacher looking for flexible work in and around Bolton? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking enthusiastic teachers to join our supply team, with opportunities available across a range of primary schools.

Supply teaching can be an ideal option if you are looking for greater flexibility, whether you are between permanent roles, returning to teaching, looking to reduce your workload or simply want to experience different school environments.

As a supply teacher, you could work across EYFS, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2, depending on your experience and preferences. Assignments can vary from individual day-to-day bookings through to longer-term placements, giving you the opportunity to choose work that fits around your circumstances.

Your main priority will be to provide a positive and consistent learning experience for pupils. You will follow existing lesson plans where provided, maintain classroom routines and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

Typical supply teaching duties include:

• Teaching classes across the primary age range
• Delivering lessons in line with school planning
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively
• Providing a safe and positive learning environment
• Adapting activities where necessary to meet pupil needs
• Liaising with school staff at the beginning and end of each assignment
• Leaving appropriate feedback for the class teacher
