Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking enthusiastic Early Career Teachers to join our Bolton primary supply team, with daily supply work and longer-term placements available across Bolton and surrounding areas.

As an ECT, you will deliver prepared lesson plans, foster a positive classroom environment and support pupils across EYFS to KS2, while gaining diverse experience and CPD opportunities.

Qualifications

• QTS or confirmation that you are eligible for QTS.
• Recent primary school experience.
• A passion for working with children.
• Good classroom management skills.
• A professional and flexible approach.

Responsibilities

• Taking responsibility for a class across EYFS, KS1 or KS2.
• Following the school's existing lesson plans and routines.
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently.
• Supporting pupils with their learning.
• Building rapport with children and school staff.
• Providing feedback to the class teacher where appropriate.

ECT Primary Teacher - Daily Supply & Long-Term Opportunities - Bolton

Are you an Early Career Teacher looking for flexibility as you begin your teaching career? Tradewind Recruitment is looking for enthusiastic ECTs to join our primary supply team, with daily supply work available across Bolton and the surrounding areas. For teachers who are looking for greater consistency, we also have opportunities for longer-term placements in primary schools.

Daily supply can be a great way to build your experience, visit different schools and gain confidence across a range of year groups. You can let us know your preferred age range and availability, and our team will work with you to find suitable assignments.

As a supply teacher, you may be covering classes where lesson plans and resources have already been prepared. Your role will be to deliver the planned learning, maintain a positive classroom environment and ensure pupils remain engaged throughout the day.

Your day could include:

• Taking responsibility for a class across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
• Following the school's existing lesson plans and routines
• Managing behaviour positively and consistently
• Supporting pupils with their learning
• Building rapport with children and school staff
• Providing feedback to the class teacher where appropriate

For ECTs who are looking for a more settled opportunity, we can also discuss long-term supply positions, which may involve covering a class for several weeks or longer. These roles can provide greater continuity while allowing you to gain further classroom experience.

We are looking for ECTs who are reliable, adaptable and keen to develop their teaching practice.
