Teaching Personnel is urgently recruiting qualified and early career teachers to support a range of primary schools across Bolton. We offer flexible supply work with full-day, half-day, pre-booked or same-day assignments.

As a Supply Teacher you will cover across local primary schools, following plans, delivering engaging lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment. Rates start at £120 per day, varying by experience and assignment.

Urgent Supply Teachers Required - Bolton

Teaching Personnel is currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and Fully Qualified Teachers (QTS) to support a range of primary schools across Bolton.

We have immediate opportunities available for teachers looking for flexible supply work, whether you are looking for full-day, half-day, pre-booked or same-day assignments.

The Role

As a Supply Teacher, you will be working across local primary schools, providing valuable classroom cover and ensuring pupils continue to receive a high standard of education.

You will generally be expected to:

• Follow lesson plans and resources provided by the class teacher.
• Deliver engaging and effective lessons.
• Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Adapt to different schools, year groups and classroom settings.
• Occasionally plan and deliver lessons at short notice where planning has not been provided.
• Complete both full-day and half-day assignments.
• Be available for same-day supply opportunities, as well as pre-booked work.

Availability

As supply work can be offered at short notice, we ask that teachers are available to take calls from 7:00am for same-day cover opportunities.

The ability to respond promptly to morning calls is an important part of the role, although pre-booked work can also be arranged in advance.

Pay

Rates from £120 per day, depending on experience, qualifications and the specific assignment.

Where a sickness absence assignment continues beyond 12 weeks, the applicable Agency Workers Regulations (AWR) provisions will be reviewed and addressed in line with the relevant regulations.
