Zusammenfassung

TeacherActive is seeking SEND Teachers for supply work across specialist SEND schools in Mansfield. Your role will include:

• Delivering lessons adapted to pupils' abilities and learning needs.
• Using varied teaching approaches to support engagement and progress.
• Following individual support plans and school routines.
• Supporting communication, independence and emotional wellbeing.
• Managing behaviour with a calm, positive and consistent approach.
• Working closely with teaching assistants and specialist staff.

The ideal SEND Teacher will have:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Desireable but not essential
• Experience teaching pupils with SEND.
• Strong adaptive teaching and classroom management skills.
• A patient, empathetic and flexible approach.
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils and colleagues.
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
