Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools in Rushden and surrounding areas on a supply basis. You will provide 1:1 or small-group support, assist with learning, and help pupils manage behaviours in line with EHCP plans.

The role offers flexible supply work across local SEN and education settings with competitive pay and opportunities to develop CPD. Prior experience in care or youth work is also welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEN is preferred.
• Positive, proactive approach to support pupils.
• Ability to build strong relationships with pupils.
• Confidence in supporting behaviour and additional needs.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Reliable and flexible approach to work.

Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for flexible work in Rushden and the surrounding areas? Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for enthusiastic and reliable SEN Teaching Assistants to join our team and support schools across the local area on a supply basis. We work with a range of SEN, specialist, primary, secondary and alternative provision settings, giving you the opportunity to find work that suits your experience, availability and preferences.

The Role

• Providing 1:1 or small-group support to pupils with additional needs
• Supporting learning and engagement inside and outside of the classroom
• Helping pupils manage their behaviour and emotions

We're Looking For

• Previous experience working with children or young people with SEN

You don't necessarily need to have worked in a school previously - relevant experience from care, support work, youth work or other settings can also be considered.
