Job Description:

Are you a reliable Teaching Assistant available for work in an SEMH school in Manchester? You will be required to manage young people with behavioural and emotional needs and be resilient.

The schools we work with are welcoming and friendly, and appreciate having familiar faces when staff are off sick or on courses.

We seek an experienced, adaptable, and confident Teaching Assistant to support day-to-day and short-term cover needs. Many TAs who have worked on this flexible basis have secured long-term roles in the schools.

This role starts immediately. Prior UK experience as a Teaching Assistant is essential, along with a relevant qualification. You should be able to integrate easily into a staff team and proactively support the classroom.

Experience supporting young people with additional needs is required.

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in a UK Primary School
• Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification
• Up-to-date Safeguarding training (desirable but not essential; training provided)

• Hold Right to Work in the UK
• Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS registered with the update service or be willing to apply
• Provide two professional references
