Due to unprecedented demand, Hays is looking to increase our number of supply teaching assistants to work on a supply and ad-hoc basis in our partnership schools in the Warrington area.

Your new role

At Hays, you will join a large supportive team of like-minded professionals with the added benefit of choosing your own availability and working in schools of your preference. Your duties will typically include:

1. Working with a classroom from EYFS to KS2
2. Following the instructions of the class teacher
3. Offering intervention and booster sessions in core subjects including Maths and English
4. Conducting phonics sessions and assessments on a 1:1 and small group basis
5. Implementing positive behaviour strategies including Brain Breaks, DOJO, and positive reinforcement
6. Promoting inclusion and accessibility within the classroom
7. Managing break and lunchtime responsibilities
8. Overseeing general classroom management
9. Managing behaviour effectively

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you must have full "Right to Work" status and:

• Referenceable experience supporting children and young people
• Experience delivering intervention and booster sessions
