Overview

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Supply Planning Manager to join an established and successful manufacturing organisation based in North Yorkshire. This is a permanent position offering a highly competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the opportunity to move into a hybrid role following the successful completion of the probationary period. The position is both challenging and rewarding, providing excellent scope for professional development.

Responsibilities
  • Updating the Master Production Scheduler and managing all medium- and short-term production scheduling
  • Attending and contributing to S&OP meetings
  • Managing the MRP process
  • Conducting capacity planning (MPS) for internal production sites and third-party contracted suppliers
  • Developing sourcing plans (MRP) for intercompany movements and direct external purchases
  • Collaborating closely with multiple stakeholders, including operations, technical, and sales teams
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment (experience within the food sector is advantageous)
  • Strong knowledge of production planning and the S&OP process
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple stakeholder demands effectively
  • A solid understanding of ERP systems, with high proficiency in supply chain tools within ERP platforms
  • Knowledge of new product set-up and onboarding, bill of material management, capacity planning, and MRP
