Job summary

Matalan is seeking an experienced Test Lead for Supply Chain systems in the UK. You will develop end-to-end test strategies for Warehouse Management Systems and automation, ensure testing is embedded from project start, and oversee risk management and release readiness.

You will mentor and lead supply chain analysts, coordinate with IT and warehouse teams, and adapt strategies to evolving system requirements. Strong WMS/WCS and API skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading testing teams in distribution, logistics or supply chain.
• Strong knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and WCS.
• Experience with APIs and integration testing.
• Proven ability to develop and deliver test strategies and plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test strategies for Supply Chain systems (WMS/WCS).
• Allocate testing resources across multiple projects and timelines.
• Identify defects, risks and release readiness, reporting progress.
• Mentor Supply Chain systems analysts to improve performance.
• Collaborate with IT, warehouse operations and project teams.
