Job summary

Marks & Spencer is seeking an experienced UAT Manager to drive end-to-end User Acceptance Testing for warehouse transformation projects at our Castle Donington distribution centre. You will lead cross-functional teams across operations, technology, engineering and external partners to ensure new systems and automation perform from day one.

You will combine hands-on testing expertise with strong stakeholder management, delivering thorough test strategies, readiness plans, and go-live readiness

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of warehouse operations within a fast-paced distribution centre environment.
• Proven problem-solving capability to identify root causes and deliver sustainable performance improvements.
• Strong project coordination and organisational skills with a disciplined, detail-oriented approach.
• Working knowledge of Blue Yonder Dispatcher and translating operational requirements into effective test scenarios.
• Confident communicator with written, verbal and presentation skills capable of influencing senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end UAT process with test strategies, plans and acceptance criteria for successful delivery.
• Coordinate readiness including test environments, data, resources and user engagement across business, IT, engineering and vendor teams.
• Manage UAT execution: test case creation, defect management, issue resolution and progress reporting.
• Build partnerships with operational SMEs, end users and stakeholders; provide leadership to testers and communicate readiness and risks to senior leaders.
• Drive governance, quality and continuous improvement by securing UAT sign-off and supporting go-live readiness.
