Job summary

TGW Group is seeking an experienced Software Test Manager to lead our testing function for Warehouse Control System software. You will define testing strategies, drive automation, and build a high-performing team reporting to the Director of IT.

You will oversee planning, estimation, and execution across multiple projects, monitor quality metrics, and collaborate with Development, Project Delivery, customers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful deployments.

Qualifications

• ISTQB Foundation qualification in Software Testing.
• Previous leadership and people management experience.
• Experience leading software testing in complex delivery environments.
• Strong knowledge of testing strategies, governance, and quality standards.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to analyse quality metrics and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Software Test Team and Test Team Leaders.
• Define and implement testing strategies, governance frameworks, and quality standards.
• Oversee planning, estimation, scheduling, and execution of testing activities.
• Drive the automation testing strategy to improve coverage, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Monitor quality metrics, identify trends, and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support customer testing, deployment, commissioning, and go-live activities.
• Collaborate with Development, Project Delivery, customers, and business stakeholders to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Play an active role within the WCS Management Team and contribute to wider departmental objectives.
