Supply Chain Coordinator

Hours: 37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30-16:30 (Permanent)

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000 per year (Depending on proven experience)

Start Date: ASAP

About the Role

Our client is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support day-to-day supply chain and logistics operations. You will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager and the wider operations team to ensure efficient purchasing, inventory control, and supplier coordination. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their career in supply chain or procurement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain quotes from suppliers and update the ERP system accurately
  • Contact and onboard new suppliers
  • Maintain inventory and parts data to ensure accurate supply chain information
  • Process purchase orders while considering stock levels and customer requirements
  • Expedite orders and elevate issues as needed
  • Investigate invoice queries and update orders as required
  • Monitor reorder points and preferred stock levels
  • Support the Supply Chain Manager with strategic projects
  • Comply with standard operating procedures and health & safety regulations
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous experience in supply chain or procurement (Essential)
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills
  • Attention to detail and analytical mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory systems
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Desirable Skills
  • CIPS qualifications or working toward them
  • Experience with ERP platforms (NetSuite experience is a plus)
  • Experience in manufacturing or technical components
