Job summary

Orion Electrotech Ltd in England is seeking a dedicated Supply Chain Administrator to join a well-established manufacturing team. The role centres on monitoring open purchase orders, securing supplier acknowledgements within agreed timescales, and validating quantities, prices, and delivery dates against POs.

You will update ERP/MRP systems, produce reports on acknowledgement, overdue orders and shortages, and communicate delivery risks with Planning, Production and Logistics to support timely

Qualifications

• Experience in supply chain, purchasing, planning, logistics or order administration.
• Experience managing purchase orders, supplier acknowledgements, expediting activities or shortages.
• Working knowledge of ERP or MRP systems.
• Excellent Excel and Outlook skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring open purchase orders and obtaining supplier acknowledgements within agreed timescales.
• Validating quantities, prices, part numbers and delivery dates against purchase orders, resolving discrepancies promptly.
• Updating ERP systems with confirmed delivery dates and maintaining accurate order records.
• Producing and maintaining acknowledgement, overdue order and shortage reports.
• Prioritising shortages based on production, customer and operational impact.
• Communicating delivery risks and recovery actions with Planning, Production and Logistics teams.
• Supporting expediting activities, order amendments, cancellations and goods receipt queries.
