Job summary

Mint Velvet in High Wycombe is hiring a Supply Chain Admin Assistant on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will support the imports/exports function to move stock efficiently, ensuring cost awareness and compliance with HMRC and transportation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Support imports/exports team to ensure stock movement is timely and compliant.
• Act as main contact for Freight Forwarders and Distribution Centre on imports/exports.
• Collaborate with line manager to set and achieve objectives.
• Keep Buying, Merchandising & Digital teams informed on import/export processes and costs.
• Notify stakeholders of stock delays to minimise impact on launches and campaigns.
• Monitor delays and investigate recurring issues.
• Prepare freight pre-costings and share with teams for informed decisions.
• Check customs entries for accuracy and calculate duties/VAT.
• Support Supply Chain Manager in meetings and monitor KPIs to meet business needs.
• Ensure import/export processes and HMRC practices stay compliant.
