Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Central Supplier Coordinator to support the Procurement Team. You will own supplier onboarding, manage master data, conduct due diligence, and help implement a new supplier portal, while engaging internal and external stakeholders and supporting growth within SOCOTEC. The role offers training and clear career progression in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Confident and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
• Highly organised, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive and genuine interest in good practice supplier management.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage the end-to-end onboarding process for new suppliers, ensuring requirements are met efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Coordinate approval workflows for internal approvals required.
• Keep supplier records up to date and set up new suppliers in master data systems.
• Oversee supplier due diligence processes and manage document refreshes for compliance and risk.
• Support the implementation and rollout of a new supplier portal and provide first-line portal support.
• Act as a key contact for supplier communications and drive engagement initiatives.
