Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a proactive Central Supplier Coordinator to support the Procurement Team. You'll drive end-to-end supplier onboarding, due diligence, data management and performance monitoring, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

This role offers opportunities to shape supplier processes, work on a modern supplier portal, and contribute to our mission of delivering trusted services across the UK.

Qualifications

• Confident and comfortable communicating with a wide variety of stakeholders, at all levels.
• Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office package.
• Highly organised, strong attention to detail, and ability to manage priorities.
• Proactive and genuine interest in good practice supplier management.
• Previous experience beneficial, but not essential. Full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Own and manage end-to-end onboarding for new suppliers, ensuring requirements are met efficiently and in a timely manner.
• Keep supplier records up to date; archive inactive accounts; set up new suppliers in master data systems.
• Take ownership for supplier due diligence processes, including managing recurrence of document refreshes and compliance checks.
• Shape and implement improvements to supplier management processes, including a new supplier portal; provide first line support.
• Act as a key contact for supplier communications; drive engagement and track supplier performance KPIs and risk.
• Undertake annual modern slavery assessments and analysis to identify risks and support compliance.
