Job summary

Draughts in London is seeking a hands-on Supervisor to run front-of-house with presence, care and energy. You will guide the team during service, uphold our standards and ensure guests leave feeling something special.

You will support the General Manager by stepping up with confidence, keeping the venue ready, safe and buzzing. You will train new starters, monitor service quality, manage stock and labour, and handle guest issues with calm, clear communication.

Qualifications

Purpose

As a Supervisor at Draughts, you are trusted to run the floor with presence, care and energy. You guide the team during service, uphold our standards, and make sure guests leave feeling like they have had something special. You support the General Manager by stepping up with confidence, adapting to the needs of the day, and making sure the venue feels ready, safe, and full of great energy.

What You Will Do

You will lead by example. Whether briefing the team before service, jumping in to support during a busy wave, or responding to a guest issue with calm and confidence, you are a steady hand and a motivating presence. You will help train new starters, share feedback with the General Manager, and build trust across the team by being fair, clear and always approachable.

You will keep a close eye on the detail. That means making sure food and drink go out right, lights and music set the right tone, and the venue looks and feels great from open to close. You will stay on top of stock use, help manage labour during shifts, and flag anything that could affect service or safety. This includes maintenance issues, incidents and near misses.

You will take on projects, complete objectives set by your General Manager, and make time for your own development. You understand that priorities can change quickly and you know how to stay positive and consistent even when things feel stretched.

Pay: £16.00 OTE
