Job summary

Marston's PLC in Caerphilly is seeking a Supervisor to lead a busy pub team. You will handle opening and closing, stock and cash, and work closely with the wider pub management team to drive efficient, profitable operations.

You'll model excellent customer service, think on your feet, and take responsibility for shifts when managers are away. If you have supervisory experience and a passion for hospitality, Marston's offers progression, attractive staff benefits, and a friendly, energetic

Qualifications

• Experience as a supervisor or team leader in a hospitality/pub setting.
• Strong customer service orientation and presence on the floor.
• Cash handling and till/cash-up experience.
• Ability to lead shifts and manage team performance.

Responsibilities

• Work with the pub management team to ensure efficient, profitable operations.
• Open and close the pub, manage stock and cashing up.
• Be a role model for customer service and guest experience.
• Think on your feet and use initiative during busy shifts.
• Ensure smooth running of shifts and pub operations when senior management are away.

• Have previous experience in a similar Supervisor or Team Leader role
• Work with wider pub management team to ensure the business runs efficiently and profitably
• Opening and closing, stocking, and cashing up
• Be a role model for customer service
• Ability to think on the spot and use your initiative
• Accountable for the smooth running of shifts and for managing all aspects of the pub when the wider management team is away
