Job summary

Kramp in Biggleswade is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Outbound function and a team of 50+ staff in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will drive productivity, quality, and on-time customer orders while upholding health and safety standards.

The role focuses on coaching, continuous improvement, and right-first-time operations. Hours are Monday to Friday 2pm–10:15pm, with a salary up to £42k plus bonuses. Kramp offers development and a supportive workplace.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Warehouse or Logistics Supervisor role.
• Experience of workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational organisation.
• Knowledge of people management processes, including employee relations matters.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible and adaptable mindset in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards.
• Good IT skills and confidence using WMS and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Outbound team (50+ staff) to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Drive performance against KPIs, quality measures, and productivity targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across warehouse processes.
• Work with the Warehouse Manager to set and achieve daily/weekly objectives.
• Lead team briefings and communicate clear priorities and expectations.
• Create a culture focused on safety, quality, engagement and accountability.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to maximise performance.
• Manage attendance, performance, conduct and capability per policies.
• Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training across logistics operations.
• Promote a Right First Time mindset to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and accurately according to SOPs.
• Maintain housekeeping and apply 5S principles.
• Support new operational projects and initiatives.

What you will be doing?

As Warehouse Supervisor reporting directly into our Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting the daily operation of the Outbound function, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the Outbound team consisting of 50 plus employees working in our picking/packing operation, to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Driving performance against operational KPIs, quality measures, and productivity targets
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practice across warehouse processes
• Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to set and achieve daily and weekly operational objectives
• Leading team briefings and communicating clear priorities and expectations
• Creating a culture focused on safety, quality, engagement, and accountability
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to maximise individual and team performance
• Managing attendance, performance, conduct, and capability in line with company policies
• Identifying training and development needs, ensuring team members are appropriately trained across logistics operations
• Promoting a "Right First Time" mindset to maintain exceptional service standards
• Ensuring all vehicles are loaded safely and accurately in line with operational and health and safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and implementing 5S principles throughout the warehouse
• Supporting new operational projects and initiatives as required

About you?

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in a Warehouse or Logistics Supervisor role (minimum 1 year)
