Job summary

Nexus People is recruiting a Warehouse Supervisor for Magna Park, Lutterworth. The role involves overseeing end-to-end warehouse operations and ensuring efficient unloading/loading to meet SLAs.

Candidates should have proven warehouse management experience. The position is a full-time role with a 40-hour week and a PM shift from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM, offering a competitive annual salary.

Responsibilities

• Plan resource allocation and manage unloading/loading to meet SLAs; communicate with internal and external customers on operational activities.
• Brief and debrief team daily; coordinate activities, delegate and prioritise work, and manage attendance and performance.
• Train team members during induction to support development and performance improvement.
• Adhere to and update all warehouse SOPs; ensure compliance with Safety, Health, Environment regulations and related rules.
• Assist in building a strong team culture through effective relationships and information sharing.

Nexus Peopleare looking for a reliable and proactiveWarehouse Supervisor to join our clients team at Magna Park, Lutterworth.

This role would suit someone with previous warehouse management experience, and a full understanding of how the end to end supply chain works.

Working asan Warehouse Supervisor:

• Resource and Process Management:
  • Plan resource allocation according to volume and throughput, and manage the unloading and loading of deliveries to meet the Service Level Agreements.Communicate with internal and external customers to ensure they are kept up-to-date and informed on operational activities.
• Team Management:
  • Brief and debrief team members and colleagues daily, coordinate team activities, delegate and prioritise work, and manage staff attendance, conduct, and performance in line with company policies and procedures.Deputise for the shift manager during periods of absence.
• Training:
  • Train team members during induction to support the personal development and/or performance improvement of the team.
• Compliance:
  • Adhere to, maintain, develop, and regularly update all warehouse standard operating procedures in liaison with the depot management team.Ensure compliance with all internal and external regulatory requirements, including (but not limited to) Safety, Health, and Environment regulations, Carriage of Dangerous Goods regulations, Data Protection, and Information Security regulations.
• Communication:
  • Assist in developing a strong team culture by building effective relationships with colleagues from around the business and sharing information to maximise efficiency.
