Kramp in Biggleswade is seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead the Outbound team and drive operational excellence. You will ensure orders are processed accurately, safely and on time while developing your people.

You will manage day-to-day operations, coach staff and implement improvements, contributing to a high-performance distribution environment. This role is based in the UK with a Monday–Friday 2pm–10:15pm shift and a salary up to £42k plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a Warehouse or Logistics Supervisor role.
• Experience in workforce planning and resource allocation.
• Knowledge of people management processes and ER matters.
• Strong leadership, coaching and development abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily Outbound operation (50+ staff) to ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time.
• Drive performance against KPIs, quality metrics and productivity targets.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and implement best practices across warehouse processes.
• Set daily/weekly operational objectives with the Warehouse Manager.
• Lead team briefings and communicate priorities and expectations.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, engagement and accountability.
• Coach, mentor and develop team members to maximise performance.
• Manage attendance, performance, conduct and capability per company policies.
• Identify training needs and ensure appropriate training across logistics operations.
• Promote Right First Time mindset to maintain high service standards.
• Ensure vehicles are loaded safely and accurately in line with health and safety.
• Maintain high housekeeping standards and apply 5S principles.
• Support new operational projects and initiatives as required.

What you will be doing?

As Warehouse Supervisor reporting directly into our Warehouse Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and supporting the daily operation of the Outbound function, ensuring high levels of productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing the day-to-day operation of the Outbound team consisting of 50 plus employees working in our picking/packing operation, to ensure customer orders are fulfilled accurately and on time
• Driving performance against operational KPIs, quality measures, and productivity targets
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practice across warehouse processes
• Working closely with the Warehouse Manager to set and achieve daily and weekly operational objectives
• Leading team briefings and communicating clear priorities and expectations
• Creating a culture focused on safety, quality, engagement, and accountability
• Coaching, mentoring, and developing team members to maximise individual and team performance
• Managing attendance, performance, conduct, and capability in line with company policies
• Identifying training and development needs, ensuring team members are appropriately trained across logistics operations
• Promoting a "Right First Time" mindset to maintain exceptional service standards
• Ensuring all vehicles are loaded safely and accurately in line with operational and health and safety requirements
• Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and implementing 5S principles throughout the warehouse
• Supporting new operational projects and initiatives as required

About you?

You'll Ideally Have

• Previous experience in a Warehouse or Logistics Supervisor role (minimum 1 year)
• Experience of workforce planning, resource allocation, and operational organisation
• Knowledge of people management processes, including employee relations matters
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and inspire teams
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A flexible and adaptable mindset with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
• A strong commitment to health and safety standards
• Good IT skills and confidence using warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office applications
• A hands-on leadership style and willingness to support operational activities when required
• A commitment to delivering quality and achieving a "Right First Time" approach
