Graphcore in Bristol offers a 12-week Software Engineering Summer Intern role focused on drivers and utilities. You will gain hands-on experience linking Graphcore’s AI hardware with machine learning software, working on kernel and user-space development with C, C++, or Python.

You’ll contribute to unit tests, CI, and cross-team collaboration, with mentoring from experienced engineers and opportunities for future graduate roles.

Qualifikationen

• Currently studying for a bachelor’s or master’s degree in CS, Maths, ML, DS or related field.
• Low-level software experience with embedded code or device drivers; project work counts.
• Basic electronics knowledge; ability to read schematics and datasheets.
• Familiar with Git and Jenkins for CI/CD; basic testing and PR workflows.

Aufgaben

• Work on drivers that connect Graphcore’s AI hardware with ML software.
• Develop kernel and user-space components in C/C++ or Python.
• Write unit tests and manually test changes; help maintain CI.
• Support teams across hardware and software stacks.
