Graphcore in Bristol is launching a two-year Graduate Programme for Systems Software Engineers in the Drivers and Utilities team. You’ll work on kernel drivers and user-space libraries, plan, build, test and improve software that powers Graphcore hardware, and support the wider software stack.

You’ll learn through hands-on projects, code reviews, and collaboration with hardware and software colleagues, while taking ownership of your contributions and expanding your engineering judgement.

Qualifications

• Experience with low-level software such as embedded software, device drivers or relevant projects.
• Basic electronics knowledge, including reading schematics and datasheets.
• Introductory coding experience in C, C++ or Python.
• Practical Git experience with branches, pull requests, reviews and merges; familiarity with CI systems such as Jenkins.
• Curiosity about hardware/software interaction and willingness to learn from others.

Responsabilités

• Plan, build, test and improve kernel drivers and user space driver libraries.
• Write code to Graphcore standards and create unit tests.
• Review code, perform manual tests and contribute to CI processes.
• Engage in design discussions and contribute to technical decisions.
