Job summary

Graphcore offers a 12-week Firmware Engineering Internship in Bristol, UK. You’ll work on firmware for next-generation products and collaborate closely with silicon and hardware teams.

The role includes writing code, building unit tests and using hardware tools to gain practical experience in embedded software. During the internship, you’ll learn through code reviews, Agile practices, and hands-on challenges, with support from experienced engineers and potential progression to graduate

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a bachelor’s or master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, Maths or a related field.
• Equivalent experience is also welcome

Responsibilities

• Write firmware code and develop unit tests.
• Investigate hardware behaviour using logs, oscilloscopes and logic analysers.
• Contribute to a shared codebase and understand how software decisions affect physical systems.
