Graphcore in Bristol offers a two-year graduate programme where you’ll work as a Graduate Systems Software Engineer in the Drivers and Utilities team, planning, building, testing and improving kernel drivers and user-space libraries. You’ll contribute to the broader software stack and help engineers and customers use Graphcore hardware efficiently.

From day one, you’ll own tasks, share ideas and collaborate with hardware and software colleagues through code reviews, CI, and design discussions,

Qualifications

• Experience with low-level software, such as embedded software, device drivers.
• Basic electronics knowledge, including reading schematics and datasheets.
• Introductory coding experience in C, C++ or Python.
• Practical Git experience, including branches, PRs, reviews and merges, and awareness of CI systems such as Jenkins.
• Curiosity about how hardware and software platforms interact and willingness to learn.

Responsabilités

• Plan, build, test and improve kernel drivers and user-space driver libraries.
• Support the wider software stack and help engineering teams use Graphcore hardware effectively.
• Write code to Graphcore standards, create unit tests, review code and manually test changes.
• Support our CI system and contribute to technical design discussions.
