Kier Group is offering a Summer Placement for a Civil Engineering student in Exeter. The role focuses on supporting the Environment Agency framework across the SouthWest, with an 8-week placement starting July 2027 at a salary of £27,976 per annum.

You will work within the infrastructure team on planning, coordination, design and on-site activities, gaining practical experience and mentorship from experienced professionals to build a strong foundation in quantity surveying and civil engineering

Competenze

• Currently pursuing a Civil Engineering degree and returning to university after placement.
• Available for July–August; 8 weeks, 40 hours per week.
• Full UK driving licence required.

• Assist in planning, coordination, design and management of projects and on-site activities.
• Prepare reports, presentations and documentation related to project activities.
