Job summary

ALPADIA Language Schools SA is seeking an energetic Activity Manager for a fixed-term summer contract in Brighton. You will safeguard students, plan and supervise afternoon and evening activities, and lead a team of Activity Leaders to deliver a high-quality co-curricular programme.

The role requires strong organisational, leadership, and communication skills, with experience in youth settings and a proactive approach to safety and student welfare.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating activities in summer camps or youth programs.
• Experience supervising activity staff and delegating tasks.
• Ability to plan, organise, and deliver engaging activity programmes.
• Strong focus on safety, welfare of children, and risk assessments.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage schedules and logistics.

Responsibilities

• Safeguard and promote student wellbeing.
• Prepare and deliver afternoon/premium activities with proper staging.
• Prepare session plans and risk assessments for activities.
• Lead daily activity team meetings and assign sessions.
• Ensure excursions are well prepared with packs, itineraries, and risk documents.
• Create and publish excursion and activity lists.
