Job Title: Substance Misuse Team Leader

Location: Doncaster

We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Substance Misuse Team Leader to join our service in Doncaster. As a vital member of the Senior Management Team, you will play a crucial role in providing leadership and management to the groupwork and early intervention teams, supporting the overall development of practice across the service.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  1. Providing effective leadership and management to staff within the groupwork and early intervention teams.
  2. Collaborating with the Senior Management Team to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that meet the needs of service users.
  3. Supporting the development and implementation of evidence-based practice and interventions within the service.
  4. Acting as a role model for best practice, promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning.
  5. Overseeing the delivery of accredited qualifications and supporting the professional development of staff.
  6. Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Relevant experience in the substance misuse field, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of issues related to substance use and addiction.
  • A relevant degree in psychology, sociology, social work, or a Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent qualifications.
  • ILM Level 5 in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, service users, and external partners.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
  • Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months. If you are on the update service, you could be fast-tracked through our recruitment process today.
  • Willingness to complete an enhanced DBS if you do not currently hold one.
