Job summary

Carlton Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Studio Assistant to support daily operations across SW London studios. You will prepare spaces for shoots, paint as needed and help ensure everything is ready for a seamless production environment.

The role requires practical hands-on ability, attention to detail, and flexibility for occasional after-hours work. Experience in studio settings and using lighting equipment is preferred, along with a reliable, can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Prepare studios before and after shoots, including painting.

Location: SW London

Job Type: Full-time (including occasional evenings and weekends)

Annual Leave: 20 days plus bank holidays and Christmas period

Salary: £26k - 32k

Salary: £26,000 > £32,000 depending on experience

Start date: asap

Hours: 9 per day plus paid OT

The Role

This is a hands-on role, and it helps to be of a practical mindset. You’ll support the day-to-day running of the studios, prepare studios for shoots and help ensure everything is ready for a seamless production

Key Responsibilities

• Preparing studios before and after shoots, including regular painting of studios
• Moving preparing lighting equipment for shoot
• Keeping studios, communal areas and facilities clean, tidy and presentable
• Carrying out basic maintenance and practical tasks around the building
• Checking lighting equipment and reporting any faults or damage
