Job summary

Cadbury College is seeking a Student Support Officer for the Cadbury College campus on a full-time, fixed-term basis for the 2026/2027 academic year. You will be a visible presence, promoting Respect, Responsibility and Ready to Learn, building relationships, supporting attendance and wellbeing, and guiding learners with individual support as needed.

You will work with Student Attendance Officers to improve attendance, maintain intervention records, and signpost learners to appropriate support

Qualifications

  • Recent, relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience supporting learners in an educational environment.
  • A commitment to creating a safe and positive learning environment.
  • The ability to understand and respond to individual learner needs.
  • The ability to produce clear and meaningful incident/accident reports.
  • A willingness to undertake further training and continuing professional development.

Job description

We are looking for a Student Support Officer to join our Student Services team at our Cadbury College campus on a full time, fixed term (2026/2027 academic year), 39 week term time only basis to help create a safe, positive and supportive environment where every learner can thrive. As a Student Support Officer, you will be a visible and positive presence around college, helping to promote Respect, Responsibility and Ready to Learn. You will build strong relationships with learners, encourage positive behaviour and attendance, and provide individual support and guidance when students need it.
