Job summary

Cadbury College is looking for a Student Support Officer to join the Student Services team at Cadbury College campus on a full-time fixed-term basis for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role is based on a 39-week term-time schedule with a focus on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment where every learner can thrive.

You will be a visible presence, promote Respect, Responsibility and Ready to Learn, build strong learner relationships and support attendance and behaviour alongside

Responsibilities

Promoting a safe, positive and effective learning environment
Monitoring learner behaviour and designated areas
Supporting positive behaviour, attendance and respect
Building positive relationships with learners and providing individual guidance
Working closely with Student Attendance Officers to improve attendance
Signposting learners to appropriate support

Description

We are looking for a Student Support Officer to join our Student Services team at our Cadbury College campus on a full time, fixed term (2026/2027 academic year), 39 week term time only basis to help create a safe, positive and supportive environment where every learner can thrive.

As a Student Support Officer, you will be a visible and positive presence around college, helping to promote Respect, Responsibility and Ready to Learn. You will build strong relationships with learners, encourage positive behaviour and attendance, and provide individual support and guidance when students need it.
