Job summary

Basingstoke College of Technology is seeking a Lead Student Support Assistant to provide inclusive, responsive support across the English and Maths departments and other curriculum areas. You will work closely with tutors to ensure effective learner support and drive up teaching and learning quality.

You will have line management responsibility for a number of Student Support Assistants, conduct performance reviews, plan inductions, and mentor staff to help them meet targets while safeguarding

Qualifications

• Applicants must have current authorisation to work in the UK; no sponsorship.

• Deliver inclusive, responsive support across the English/Maths departments, Curriculum areas or Foundation Learning, working closely with tutors to ensure effective learner support.
• Manage a number of Student Support Assistants, completing performance reviews twice a year, planning inductions, mentoring staff and helping them meet targets.
