Basingstoke College of Technology is seeking a Lead Student Support Assistant to provide leadership within the Student Experience Department. You will deliver inclusive, responsive support across our English/Maths, Curriculum areas or Foundation Learning teams and work closely with tutors to ensure high-quality learner outcomes.
You will supervise several Student Support Assistants, carrying out performance reviews, inductions, mentoring, and driving targets.
Salary: £24,892.70 for term-time only (Pro rata from £30,701.00 per annum)

You will be delivering inclusive, responsive, and innovative support across the college - specifically within the English/Maths department, Curriculum areas or Foundation Learning department. You will work closely with tutors to ensure that support is effective. You will constantly strive to produce outstanding teaching and learning at all times to ensure that all learners succeed in their chosen programmes.
You will have management responsibility for a number of Student Support Assistants – this will involve completely their performance related reviews twice a year, planning new staff inductions, mentoring staff and ensuring they are working towards their targets.
