Job summary

Milk Education is seeking Student Support Staff to assist pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in welcoming primary schools throughout North Durham. Opportunities are available on both a part-time and full-time basis, with flexible supply work, long-term placements and permanent opportunities available.

As Student Support, you will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons and enriching learning experiences for pupils across primary age groups.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities

  • Working with small groups or individual pupils to boost confidence and attainment
  • Encouraging participation through creative, practical and interactive activities
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs where required
  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
  • Helping to create a safe, inclusive and inspiring learning environment
  • Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and families

The Role
Monday - Friday | 8:30am - 15:30pm | £107.71 daily rate

Milk Education is seeking Student Support Staff to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in welcoming primary schools throughout North Durham. Opportunities are available on both a part-time and full-time basis, with flexible supply work, long-term placements and permanent opportunities available.

As Student Support, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and enriching learning experiences for pupils across primary age groups. Your creativity, energy and positive attitude will help create an environment where children feel motivated, supported and ready to succeed.

We are also supporting a number of partner schools with their September recruitment plans, making this a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain classroom experience or secure their next long-term role.
