Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a Graduate Learning Support Assistant to support primary pupils across North Durham, working in small groups or 1:1 to build communication and self‑management skills while encouraging independence.

You will benefit from extensive training, ongoing support from a dedicated consultant, flexible days, and a community focused on educator wellbeing and professional development.

Qualifications

  • Must have graduated in the last 5 years from a transferable degree (psychology, coaching, education, counselling etc)
  • Positive attitude and enthusiasm for supporting children's learning
  • Patience and a calm approach to assisting others
  • A Level 2 or 3 qualification in childcare, education or similar — or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Recent experience working in a school or education setting (preferred)

Responsibilities
