Job summary

Milk Education is seeking a creative, energetic Student Success Coach to support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in North Durham. The role offers full-time opportunities with flexible supply, long-term placements and permanent paths within local schools.

You will work with teachers to deliver engaging lessons, run creative interventions, support learners with additional needs, and help nurture confidence and achievement while promoting inclusive, safe learning environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
  • Creative, energetic and engaging approach.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Reliability, adaptability and a positive attitude.
  • Availability for at least 3 days per week (flexible).

Responsibilities

  • Supporting the class teacher with lessons and classroom activities
  • Delivering creative interventions and engaging learning experiences
  • Working with small groups or individual pupils to boost confidence and attainment
  • Encouraging participation through creative, practical and interactive activities
  • Supporting children with additional learning needs where required

Whether you have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Childcare Practitioner, Youth Worker, Sports Coach, Performing Arts Graduate or simply have a passion for supporting children, we would love to hear from you.

Milk Education is seeking enthusiasticStudent Success Coachto support pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 in welcoming primary schools throughout North Durham. Opportunities are available on both a part-time and full-time basis, with flexible supply work, long-term placements and permanent opportunities available.

We are also supporting a number of partner schools with their September recruitment plans, making this a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain classroom experience or secure their next long-term role.

This Student Success Coach role is ideal for:
  • Teaching Assistants and Learning Support Assistants
  • Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Practitioners
  • Youth Workers and Community Support Workers
  • Individuals with a creative approach to engaging children
  • Anyone passionate about supporting children's learning, confidence and development
The Role

As a Student Success Coach, you will support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and enriching learning experiences for pupils across primary age groups. Your creativity, energy and positive attitude will help create an environment where children feel motivated, supported and ready to succeed.
