Job summary

Hales Group Ltd is recruiting a Student Success Coach for a short-term FTC in Lowestoft / Great Yarmouth. This part-time role (18.5 or 26 hours per week) carries a salary of £13.57 - £14.40 per hour (DOE) and requires a current enhanced DBS on the Update Service.

You will work closely with learners, providing one-to-one mentoring, improving attendance and engagement, and helping learners achieve positive progression outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Current enhanced DBS check on the update service.
  • Experience supporting learners in education or coaching settings.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, encouraging approach with the ability to motivate others.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Confident with IT systems and maintaining records.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, equality, diversity and inclusion.
  • GCSE English and Maths at Grade C/4+ (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

Location: Lowestoft / Great Yarmouth

MUST HAVE A CURRENT ENHANCED DBS ON THE UPDATE SERVICE

We are recruiting for dedicated and compassionate Success Coaches to join one of our clients. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with learners, helping them overcome barriers, improve attendance and engagement, and achieve positive progression outcomes.

You will provide personalised support to learners, build strong relationships, offer guidance and encouragement, and work collaboratively with colleagues, families and external agencies to ensure learners receive the support they need to thrive.

Key responsibilities include:
  • Providing one-to-one mentoring and pastoral support.
  • Supporting learners to improve attendance, engagement and achievement.
  • Identifying barriers to learning and implementing effective support strategies.
  • Monitoring learner progress and maintaining accurate records.
