Job summary

Iris Recruitment is assisting a client in Trowbridge to recruit an Academic Support Coach who will empower learners to overcome challenges and develop independent study skills. This part-time, term-time role focuses on personalised academic and pastoral support to help students stay engaged and achieve their goals.

You will bring experience supporting learners or youth work, with strong communication, empathy and organisational skills, plus safeguarding/diversity commitment.

Academic Support Coach
Location: Trowbridge
Salary: £13,066 rising to £13,221 per annum, pro rata of the full time equivalent £24,619 per annum rising to £24,910 per annum

As an Academic Support Coach, you'll play a pivotal role in empowering learners to overcome challenges, develop independent study skills, and achieve their educational goals. Whether you already have experience supporting learners or are eager to bring your coaching, mentoring, or support skills into education, you'll be helping students succeed both inside and outside the classroom.

What We Offer

Salary: £13,066 per annum, rising to £13,221 per annum, pro rata of the FTE (Full time equivalent £24,619 rising to £24, 910 per year)

Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time 22.5 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+2 weeks per year

Year-Round Employment: No unpaid breaks
