Job summary

John Mason School in Abingdon is seeking a Progress Manager to support the Progress Leader in delivering effective policies and raising attainment for pupils. You will work within a pastoral team, engage with families and external partners, and help remove barriers to education so students access the opportunities of a great education.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children, families and schools.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organisational skills, excellent record keeping and report writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Progress Leader in implementing school policies and procedures to raise achievement.
• Work within the pastoral team to support pupils in the relevant year group.
• Engage with families, Home School Link Worker and Welfare Officers to remove barriers to education.
