Job summary

Study Group Leeds is hiring a Progression and Engagement Coach to support students' progression both face-to-face and online. Based at Leeds International Study Centre on-site, the role requires strong people skills and administrative ability, and offers a fixed-term contract until 24 November 2028 with salary up to £26,520 per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Experience supporting students in an educational context.
• Experience organizing trips and visits including completing necessary risk assessments.
• Experience creating engaging content and delivering workshops or similar.
• Experience working collaboratively with external partners to facilitate activities and engagement.
• Experience facilitating the ‘student voice’ including demonstrating the use of effective feedback mechanisms.
• Working in a regulated environment.
• Working in customer service.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Academic Success tutorials and provide 1:1 progression counselling.
• Design and create learning materials around study skills, welfare topics and employability.
• Update and maintain the virtual learning environment and embed digital learning technologies.
• Put interventions in place in relation to attendance per Attendance Policy and record accurately.
• Track student performance and liaise with the academic team to identify intervention strategies.
• Monitor, track and provide reports on student destination offers and refer to Extended Progression Team.
• Track VLE analytics and identify gaps and actions for students.
• Support students in actively taking care of their mental and physical health with Wellbeing Team.
